Skybox® Security participated at the Asian Financial Services Congress 2016 – Beyond Digital, Making Experiences Count, 3-4 March 2016 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Since its inauguration in 2005, the Asian Financial Services (AFS) Congress has become a platform for “technology showcasing,” gathering of the most innovative service providers for the financial industry. This year Skybox Security was also at the conference showcasing its comprehensive product suite for vulnerability and threat management, security policy management and, now, attack surface visibility.

Mr. Kenneth J. Ratnam, senior business development director for Asia-Pacific, and Mr. Karthik Logendra, professional services manager for Skybox Security, displayed how our solution gives security leaders a complete view of their organization’s attack surface and Indicators of Exposure (IOEs) – key to quickly making informed security decisions. “What emerged as a common concern across all the conversations we had was the fact that the technology team of most financial institutions in this area were unaware of how their network looked at any particular time,” said Ratnam. “Our recently released attack surface visualization tool – Skybox® Horizon – effectively solves this issue,” he continued.

Horizon integrates with the Skybox Security Suite, the company’s award-winning analytics platform, using the contextual intelligence gained from consolidating and analyzing data from the most sources in the industry, including more than 90 network security devices and dozens of vulnerability and threat intelligence feeds. Horizon creates a visual, interactive model that links network topology, network connections, business units and organizational hierarchy. It also shows an added layer of IOEs, such as exploitable attack vectors, hot spots of vulnerabilities, network security misconfigurations and risky firewall access rules, all prioritized by risk of their potential business impact to that specific organization. This gives CISOs deep insight into the state of their security at a glance from the widest possible range of sources at any time.

At the AFS Congress, all the major banks of the APAC region visited the Skybox booth to understand how our solution can help them improve their Security posture. “We feel encouraged by the APAC region’s financial vertical’s interest in Skybox solutions,” said Ratnam. “It validates that our product development is clearly addressing pain points of our customers and potential customers. We hope to have many more such interactive meetings with APAC’s tech world luminaries in other upcoming conferences.”
